So after many attempts to make it happen by mum and dad (resulting in many 'first steps'), Noah has begun to walk - without holding hands! One week after his first birthday, he simply walked from dad to mum; about 9 steps. Very easily.
Since then, his skills have rocketed. When in Target yesterday he even went missing when mum had her attention on something else. He was only a couple of aisles away examining a toy, but he was fast!
We are very proud. Here's a video from a couple of days ago.

Thanks for posting that Katie - I love it when there are new Noah posts. Walking is so exciting. Now he's a real toddler - not long til the terrible two's!!!
SUPER awesome.
Dang, that boy is growing up fast.
He's going to be a bitchn' hockey player.
Smoooth.
Is he just absolutely loving it?
Are you just absolutely loving not having to walk him round all the time?
AGHRRRR! That's just too cute!
Ames - don't say it! I want him to stop growing now ;)
Jas - No way is he playing hockey. Or any such dangerous activities - he could get hurt! Maybe he can do kite-flying... is that a sport....?
Fi - yeah, he is loving it - but I love it more (not holding his hand constantly). I get such a buzz out of watching him wonder off without me! He still loves to hold my hand, but not as much.
Emma - I do agree ;) He might be running when you see him in Decemeber!
OI!!
isn't it about time this got updated!?!?
love antie fi xoxoxo
