Peek-A-Boo

Noah has developed an unusual habit... half of Peek-A-Boo. He loves pulling his sheets over his face.

In fact, he loves pulling almost anything over his eyes: bibs, little toys, even books, like "Monkey See, Monkey Zoo". The thing doesn't even need to cover his eyes fully, so long as its generally 'in the way'. Then, he'll kick and kick until...

Boo!! You pull back the covers.

Hopefully, very soon, he'll figure out the second part (pulling back the covers all by himself).

Literature... well, books anyway.

Noah has a growing library now and is making great use of it. Picture Pairs, Peace At Last, Frog-tastic... there are plenty to choose from.

A new fixture in the bed-time routine is reading... Muddy Pup, on this occasion. Sometimes he'll make it through four or five books before bed.

Noah definitely settles-down to sleep a lot more smoothly if reading is the last thing on his agenda.

Water Baby!!

Noah has always enjoyed bath times. The kicking (see earlier posts), the splashing, the regular round of "Row, Row, Row Your Boat"; but baths are never as much fun without a good set of rubber duckies.

Noah's first rubber duck had one serious problem: no squeak!! Thankfully Mummy found another set of rubber duckies, this time complete with squeaking skills. Hoorah!

But the bath is no longer the only place for water-baby fun. There's the pool, too!

On this occasion, cousins Josiah and Shem and good friend Phebe accompanied Noah to the pool (none of them made this photo) along with their mums. The pool is looking like becoming one of Noah's regular haunts.
